Agent rules and regulations

University

  1. Under this agreement Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) agrees to give the AGENT the authority to recommend and recruit potential students to MEDIU in accordance with the admission standards and in line with MEDIU policies.

  2. MEDIU shall endeavour to provide the AGENT comprehensive updated information on MEDIU with regard to the programs, courses structure, fees schedule, and admission policies. MEDIU shall also provide the AGENT with an adequate stock of current prospectus, information leaflets, and useful promotional materials and other important aspects, to help provide an appropriate guidance to prospective students.

  3. MEDIU provides training for the agent or his representative on how to submit applications and related information to assist the expected candidates to know how is the application process and provides to submit the necessary documents to the university.

  4. MEDIU shall respond to any enquiries and send all correspondence and related documents to the AGENT promptly via the most efficient means.

  5. MEDIU reserves the right to accept or reject applications submitted by the enrolled students or by the agent according to the policies and rules of the University’s Admission and Registration.

Agent

  1. To provide an adequate assistance to them regarding the information about MEDIU and its courses, structures, tuition fees and documents required for the admission, as well as to instruct students the way to apply for admission to the university, and to help them to submit the required documents.

  2. To instruct students to pay all tuition fees and any other fees through his\her virtual account, in fact, that the agent shall send a copy of the payment receipt to the University via email address finance@mediu.edu.my not later than 5 (five) days from the date of receiving it from the students.

  3. To confirm that he\she has read and understood the policies of the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia.

  4. The Agent must notify prospective students that:

    1. The decision of accepting the Student’s admission or rejection comes from the university.
    2. MEDIU provides assistance regarding study visa to on-campus students only who come to Malaysia.

Agent

  1. The Agent must avoid the following:

    1. Any greedy or exploitation of the service entrusted to him or any other illegal behaviour.
    2. Receiving receipts of fees from students on behalf of the University. Fees payable must be made by the student.
    3. Any attempt of Changing or falsifying documents to obtain admission to the university.
    4. Impose a surcharge on applications or publications or promotional brochures provided by the university without obtaining prior approval from the university.
    5. Any fraud or deception by the agent and/or applicants by any means will lead to immediate cancellation of this agreement.

Termination of the agreement and resolution of conflicts

  1. The Agreement shall be valid for one (1) year from the date of signature unless cancelled by either party within 2 weeks from the above date. Subsequent renewal of the Agreement may be negotiated based on mutual agreement by both parties.

  2. This agreement shall be constructed, interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of Malaysia; and any dispute that may arise shall be settled accordingly with such laws.

  3. Agent hereby agrees to indemnify MEDIU from any losses or liability incurred in the carrying out of the business of recruiting students to MEDIU
